What to do when the surgery is closed

Our out of hours emergency care is provided by The Vets Now Clinic in the PDSA Small Animal Surgery, Llansamlet.

This service provides continuous emergency out of hours care and benefits from dedicated veterinary surgeons and nurses.

Vets Now is the largest national provider of veterinary emergency care and has recently opened a canine blood bank.  They intend to begin an emergency ambulance service by 2009.

When using this service, payments are made directly to Vets Now Ltd.

Directions to Vets Now, Swansea

From M4 Eastbound:
Exit the M4 at Junction 45 on to the A4067 heading towards Swansea. Take your second exit turning right at the end of the slip road on to the A48, Samlet Road. Continue straight on at the first roundabout and turn left on to Nantyfein Road. Continue down passing the train station on your right and then turn left on to Viking Way. Vets Now is on the corner of this road.

From M4 Westbound:
Exit the M4 at junction 44 turning left at the end of the slip road on to the A48. Follow the A48 passing the Llansamlet Rail Station on your left and turn left down Nantyfein Road. Continue down passing the train station on your right and then turn left on to Viking Way. Vets Now is on the bend on this road.

From A4217, Swansea Town Centre:
Follow the A4217 out of Swansea towards the M4. As you approach Six Pit Junction train station turn right on to Viking Way. Vets Now is on the bend on this road.
