Terms of trade
We respectfully bring to our clients’ attention that all bills are to be settled in full at the end of your consultation, before leaving the surgery. Please do not ask for credit as refusal often offends.
There may be times when we need to request payment in advance of a procedure and you will be advised if this is the case.
If you are unsure as to how much something may cost, please ask the vet to give you an estimate before the proposed treatment commences.
Clients should settle all bills for insurance claims in full with the practice and then claim the reimbursement from their insurance company.
The only insurance company from whom we are able to submit direct claims is Petplan. If your pet is insured with Petplan, you must first get approval from the vet as to whether the practice is able to submit a direct claim on your behalf. If you are given approval, you must then settle the policy excess in full with the practice. If for whatever reason we are not able to submit a direct claim, you must settle the bill in full with the practice and then claim the reimbursement from Petplan.
